Gary Waksmunski is a graduate of Corning Painted Post East HS class of 1968. In High School he played football, and baseball for 4 years, basketball, and wrestling for 2. He was All-Twin Tiers in football and baseball.
Gary graduated from Mansfield University in 1972 where he played football, baseball, and wrestled. He was All-PSAC in football, and a member of the conference championship baseball team.
Gary has had a very accomplished coaching career. He has coached various levels of baseball and softball for 18 years, basketball 21 years, football 31, and wrestling 2. While coaching Gary saw the need for understanding sports injuries so he worked with Dr. Shaw at Sports Medicine in Williamsport and treated injuries for 25 years.
