Roy Vargeson

A 1973 graduate of Cowanesque Valley HS, Roy played 4 years of Tennis, Basketball, Baseball, and Football. In Tennis Singles he finished 4th in Districts in 1972 and 3rd in 1973. A member of Tri-County Football Champs in 1973, he was a PIAA Basketball Official for 25 years where he worked games at the District and State levels. His coaching duties include Boys and Girls Tennis for 3 years, Baseball for 2 years, JV Boys Basketball for 6 years, and is currently the Girls Varsity Basketball Coach at CV. His Girls Tennis team had a record of 34-4 and Boys 26-9. Roy coached Little League Baseball for 9 years and is a 6 year Director of the Sports Hall of Fame.
