Tanya Deats Harmon

Tanya is a 1996 Wellsboro HS graduate. She participated in volleyball, basketball, track, and was a member of the inaugural softball team in 1993. As a volleyball player in HS in 93-94 she was NTL Honorable Mention, 94-95, NTL 1st team, District 4 2nd team, 95-96, NTL 1st team, and 1st team District 4. While in HS she was a member of the 92-93 District 4 Champions, 93-94 NTL West Champions, and District 4, 2nd place. 94-95 2nd place NTL West.

Tanya graduated from Penn State Behrend in 2000, where she was a member of the volleyball and softball teams. Her junior and senior years she was All-Conference. In 1999 she ranked 20th in the nation in D3 for hitting percentage. In 1999 she was named co-female athlete of the year. Since graduation she has had many coaching jobs. She has been assistant coach at East Stroudsburg University, Middle School, JV, and Varsity coach at Wellsboro, and participated in many summer camps as a coach.
