Tom Matis

Tom is a 1964 graduate of Elkland High School. Tom earned 4 Varisty letters in Soccer and Baseball, and 2 Varsity letters in Basketball. He was Co-Captain of the Soccer team in 1964 and team high scorer. During his high school career, Tom's teams won 4 League Championships, and were in the District playoffs in 1962.  He was a member of the Slippery Rock State College Soccer team, where he started and earned 3 letters. In 1967, his team went to the NCAA Div 1 Tournament and they were a Division 3 school. Tom played 1 year of Semi-Pro Baseball. Tom has coached Soccer, Basketball, Baseball, and Track/ Field where he has won League Championships, and sent 2 individuals to the State Championships in Track/ Field.
